Beeing at the 2nd edition already, the Romanian e-Commerce Awards conference is the only Romanian award show that repays the performance and efforts of those involved in eCommerce, starting from banks and ending with payment gateways, online stores, services suppliers and ecommerce solutions as well as specialized press.

The awards (the same as in the first edition, on 8 June 2006) are classified is 3 categories:

1. Awards based on statistics offered by RomCard (Credit Card processing company)
2. Awards based on the Jury votes (not disclosed until launch day)
3. Awards proprietary to Link2eCommerce

Update: I think Ionut is actually in the Top 10 bloggers worldwide, with close to 40K subscribers. I’m not talking about news websites like TechCrunch or GigaOM, but individual blogs, written by only one author.

As I wrote before, in the initial rumor, then the confirmation (not Google’s though), Adsense is now available for Romanian and Greek languages, officially, as Otilia Otlacan reports.

As people were afraid that the Romanian language does not appear in the official Adsense supported languages page, now it is.

There are a lot of discussions at Seopedia Forum, about Adsense ads starting to appear on websites written in romanian language.

Up until now, only Public Service Announcement (PSA) ads appeared on pages with content in Romanian language.

There’s no official position on this, in the Adsense Blog, or in the supported languages page in Adsense’s Help Center.
