It’s a great way for gaining backlinks too. Also, I’m guessing there’s about 600 plus bloggers on the list now (including myself). As the list continues to grow, it’s going to take longer to load. It’s pretty resource hungry.

Isn’t linking the higest reward a blogger (or webmaster) can get ? :)

Thank you for including the project on your blog. I just hope my pic does not scare people away. lol This really is a wonderful project.

A little blurry, but seems ok to me.

Um, thanks. :)

Thanks for posting the 2000 faces and including Flooring The Consumer. It’s an amazing project and really highlight how diverse the blogging community is.

Great site you have here. Are you one of the 2000?

It seems so ;)

Help spread the word, the @ list, a scaled down version of Tino’s 2000.

2000 Bloggers-Idol meets Survivor with Apprentice: Vote some off the island!

The @List Blogroll(It’s like a Z list, only different)

Tino Buntic’s future is already here: It’s just not evenly distributed yet— Hotel @nyware’s Blogrolling Trend 2007 He selects, We elect. Get in touch with your inner Simon!

Think American Idol meets Survivor with The Apprentice. Who gets voted off the island? Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down? Hired or fired? Do you Digg it? Use reality tv groundrules, and VOTE!

Hotel @nyware is paying the 2000 bloggers off in social currency. This is an open source call out there to vet out the 2000 to Hotel @nyware’s new Z list of 150.

Mass Collaboration Required. Rock the vote.

Leave a comment here. Include your Starting Lineup from the 2000 blogs for Hotel @nyware’s blogroll.

I’ll do the math and will post you(rs) to theBlogroll and start the epidemic! … and we all can leave them in hotel@nyware’s rooms Gideon style, pass them out at airports wireless hotspots and stuff like that.

Here are my top six:

Frank Gruber for turning me on to the project. Andrew Wee Mr Uber Social Traffic Generator for spreading the 2000 Bloggers thought virus. Tino, the linkbait benefactor for coming up with this.Seth Godin, Write? Right! and he shaves his head C. B. Whittemore’s a role model for the corporate casual rules of never doing evil and Tom Peter’s junkie.

Not me?

Yeah it’s truly amazing what Tino has done! I usually just go to the page source and copy the code from time to time which seems to be what you have done.

Sorta neat to be included…

At first it made my head swell, thinking I was some SEO pundit, but then I realized that it’s probably only because I have my picture on my blog.

Oh well, I still got listed two spots before Danny Sullivan!

Christian,

Google toolbar autofills the website field with http://myfirstnamedomainname.com - that’s really odd (see my link in my comment above)

Yes, it’s a great way to gain a lot of links fast, and get banner or sandboxed.

Another try to gain unnatural link popularity.

January 25th, 2007

Actually, all these are natural links.

You should start reading about what organic or non-organic linking is.

Is natural to participate on a link exchange network?

Thanks for stopping by Abandoned Stuff. While you’re there we have a campaign to Ban TV where you can join the “Teleban”, or protect your pets with a foil hat ;-)

I’m curious, too, what will happen after this with these 2000 bloggers blogs. I mean PR and SEO stuff … Will see :)

OK.. Please feel free to delete this comment if looks like spam (I don’t want to be spammed back 100 times!:) but this list doesn’t include me and I think you should really check out my pixel sized 2000 Blogger collage!

January 29th, 2007

Hey Cristian, you’re ranked #2 for “2000 bloggers” on Google. That probably helps with all the page views this post got!

Just wanted to comment on Sefu’s “unnatural linking” comment. If Google found 2000 Bloggers to be spam, it wouldn’t index the page or make it #1 in search results. Nobody’s getting sandboxed here. This does help all involved.

Thanks for being one of the first to link to me Cristian!

January 29th, 2007

Your welcome Tino. That position brings 1 refferer per day yes :)… Not much.

I am one of the 2000. and my technorati ranking went up 20000 spot

Good idea with that website, in this way, we will find all good blogs in one place…

July 20th, 2007

An excellent, and slick interfact to navigate the blogs, but will the 2000 links ever change? as I imagine that new bloggers and good bloggers at that come around all the time.

Ummm…
I still don’t get it.
What is the criteria to be included inside those 2000 bloggers?
