Bucharest’s midtown car traffic

I HAD to show you guys some pictures (taken half an hour ago) of Bucharest’s Victoria Market (Piata Victoriei) car traffic, in mid-day :

Now you get in here, and drive a car back home from work.. It’s madness.

In a few years, there won’t be any Bucharest at all.

I have a friend in Bucharest’s auto registration office, and he told me : in Bucharest, on a daily basis, aprox. 40 cars are radiated, and 80 are registered. Go figure. 40 cars x 30 days = 1200 new cars in Bucharest each month. That’s aprox. 15.000 new cars each year.

i got a bike last year and discovered that it was much faster than a car in Bucharest at rush hours . Speaking of speaking in english ..

As in taken out of circulation. I missed some english classes so it seems :)
