Just point a link towards their results, and Google will give a nice and juicy backlink.

Ask.co.uk doesn’t have a valid robots.txt file, and the search results from Ask.co.uk don’t have a nofollow (not that they should’ve).
Enjoy!
Update: Here’s another indexed page from Ask.co.uk, and guess what ? It’s cache is from yesterday :)
Thanks, will try this out and see how long it takes to get into Google.
That qid=305E2EE5EECD5E479F8AFC504719278F parameter doesn’t look too good. I don’t think this like has lot’s of value, so why bother “spamming” results?
This isn’t going to do much/anything. Trust me. :)
Oh, you just spoiled the fun Matt.
But why is the page indexed ? :)
Ha ha, that’s so cool! But this is an old spam technique, related to something like: http://www.free-seo-news.com/newsletter179.htm#facts. I don’t think such backlinks worth any penny.
The first two links are dead; are they supposed to return ‘document not found’ in Google?
I think Matt wasn’t so sure about his comment, hence the editing. lol. Interesting to see the direct links off of ask.uk
My point too :P
Heard Ask ad on the radio the other day. It was so desparate, like a drowning man cry for help. Ask lost it years ago. Sad………..
But it work?
Am Curious does this technique, still/actually work?
What was the consensus?
Don
Yeah, does this really works? Any proof of results?
I have tried this technique, no results on my end. I took off the link.
