  1. The drawback of that particular scenario is that an URL still shows on the hover action.

Internet savvy users will most likely perceive that even worse. Like trying to offend their intelligence. For example, Most of the times I look for the detination of banners. If those are tinyurl.com/GFS234D or domain.com/click-here/ , it’s certain that that’s an affiliate URL.

Using this little JS, no URL is shown.

  2. This is a very nice script, (almost) exactly what I’ve been looking for, wish it would hide the link completely, but it is still better than a lot of the stuff I have found.

  3. This is the best script that i’ve seen for a very long time. James Brausch did suggest one to me before, but it wasn’t nearly as good as this!

  4. Thank you so much, man. I never thought it was possible to hide that ugly links for your visitors. Thanks man with this plugin I can hide that links so my visitors thinks they are buying it from me, but it is just an afillate :D

  5. Thanks man for sharing all those nice websites. I need them a long time ago but I just found the solution for hiding that ugly affilate links.

  6. I already use this plugin and it works good. Now no one can see that this are affilate links. Thanks man!

I have looked at your website and I still amazing about the tools and the ways to make money online are described there. Keep up the good work, I will follow your website with my readership on it!

  8. Unfortunately IE7 blocks javascript that alters the status bar by default. There is an option to disable this feature but nobody will find it, let alone use it.

  9. This is something I’m looking for, but I would like to have the url hidden completely, even on right click.
Anyone know of something like this?

    Ricky

  10. Also, price is no problem.. I can pay for a script, service, etc..

I’ve got loads of products on my hard drive, so I’ll do some digging and I’ll let you guys know if I find something that does what we’re looking for.
Also let me know if someone finds something that hides links completely.. even on right click, source code, etc.. Completely.

  11. On all my websites i use php&mySQL redirects!
You can simply use redirects pages but if u have many links (like I have), u have to make a page for every single one! so is much better to use a database!). I think is the best way to hide affiliate link! and u don’t have to worry about java and mouseovers and stuff like that!
