After posting the rumor that Adsense is available for Romanian websites, yesterday, I received a 100% confirmation that Adsense will officially enter in Romania in the following weeks.
The (let’s say) competition has something to deal with and you guys, the publishers, go ahead and make that buck you all waited for, all these years, where websites with content primarily in Romanian were deprived of the Adsense service.
PS: I will not reveal my source. I will just say that it’s 100% correct.

Marius wanted to know my source. I can’t reveal it. I do want to emphase that this is not a rumor. I CLEARLY mark rumors, when I write them.
Does this mean I should start translating some of my websites now ? :)
Wonder when we’ll have Google Checkout :-?
We already have it.
From Google Checkout.
Znuff probably meant “as sellers”…
I think that Adsense will support romanian language, but for the moment they only study the market.
The problem is not IF; the problem is WHEN (?) !
So mates… create romanian content, not MFA and blogs (semi MFA)
when will be the payments available by EFT?
“PS: I will not reveal my source. I will just say that it’s 100% correct.” Cristian, this is just like saying nothing.
What if I add my code to my Romanian websites then google bans my account? I will ask google to check Cristian’s blog, he wrote it is 100% correct…
Cristian is quite a reliable source
Bogdan, I think there are a lot of content websites in Romania. The problem is that owners don’t know how to monetize them.
Probably soon.
I didn’t said “guys, put the code in your website”. The only thing I said is that in a few weeks tops, Romanian will be an officially supported language.
Zoltan – Cristian is not telling you that it’s OK to have adsense on romanian content pages NOW !
Is telling you that it has info the in the near future romanian language will be supported.
We all want to know when, but there is no guarantee with Google.
Until romanian language is not officially supported by adsense is not wise to be agains TOS.
It’s a hugry and risky choice, but is yours !
My point exactly. I’m not hearding users to put the adsense code in their websites, unless they are willing to risk their account.
great news… thanks Cristi :)
Cristi if you say it’s 100% true then it must be :) I do have AdSense on my sites (even on romanian content ones): G has no problem about it.
Well.. i run ROMANIAN ads on my blog, my classifieds site and my web directory … and i’m not banned. the ads work just fine … and i’m using them for about 2 weeks or so…
There are a lot of things we are assuming without any official announcement. If you remember last year was a rumor like this and other talks were “talked”.
It is obvious Google will enter in Romania someday, but with an appropriate strategy and with a real language support.
The main purpose of Google is the profit, even they are still fans of BETA , so they will do it when everything is prepared. We are ready. Are them ?
I am not assuming.. I know :)
And I’m talking for myself here.
I know you know, but i know other things too :)
It is not for me the view of entering the market launching the service … this is the webmaster way . It’s the view of having money from the client.
Google asks for credit card payment and in Romania only 0,6% is using these kind of services.
Real consultants in real campaigns in AdSense are few ( lucky me i know you :) )
Two sides > tomorrow all the webmasters will join. Who’s gonna buy ?!
The market will grow Claudiu. Steadily.
Since i know myself i am fighting to educate clients to make a lot of Internet things ( including advertising on google )
I KNOW the market will grow, i DREAM the market will grow. So when i make the market share of Romanian online advertising to be without natural logarithm :)
Divide 5.5 mil / 168 000 mil = …
el e omu de la gugle…stie el ce stie…are cv :))
still waiting for EFT in Romania :(
